SEVEN Day 3: Arwen's 30 minutes

Susahnya minta ampun. Kadang berhasil bangun tapi sambil marah-marah :D

Berhubung Arwen sudah mandi malam sebelumnya, bangun pagi tinggal sikat gigi & cuci muka. Sambil merem tentunya

Tepat 30 menit!

SEVEN Day 2: Ngos-ngosan di Taman India

SEVEN Day 1: Mamin's Me-Time

Hari ini Mamin pergi gaul bareng ibu-ibu lain, meninggalkan Papin, Arwen, Leia & Neo di rumah.

Selamat bergaul, Mamin. Jangan lupa oleh-oleh.

Selama Mamin pergi, situasi & kondisi cukup aman terkendali. Arwen & Leia sibuk nonton Shaun the Sheep.

Papin terbangun, terdengar kegaduhan di living room. Suasana ruangan seperti Pearl Harbour setelah diserbu Jepang.

Playing with iPhone AutoDesk SketchBook Mobile

I don't like painting on iPhone with any painting apps. Feel awkward scrubbing my finger on its tiny screen. But then, I try this AutoDesk SketchBook (iTunes link) and it suits with my finger. Of course it takes time to get used to painting on iPhone with this app. But it's just.. well.. feel right. Here are some works from my iPhone.

Re-learning Watercolor

I am a bit rusty with watercolor. Been awhile never touch this medium. I was in love with watercolor back when I was in college. Now, since we have the weekend craft at home, I think it's a good idea to introducing watercolor to our little daughter, Arwen & Leia.

The iPhone final artwork (18 x 26cm 200dpi) are available for download: US$10

Arwen & Leia's Mural

Drawing is one of human basic needs, especially drawing on the wall. The wall is big, large & gives lots of space for expression. Cave men painting on their cave. Egyptian created stories on their wall. People doing graffities on public walls.

Similar to what Arwen & Leia did to our bedroom wall. It's about basic needs for freedom & expression :)

Tweet Tweet! Fabric Scraps Art

Summer is here!! And it's really hot in here. Daytime can reach almost 50˙C!! *pphhiiuuhhh*. Since the kids can't play outside, we have to prepare for some projects and activities at home. And thanks to Lisa Tilse for her brilliant idea :).

Fabric Scraps Project

Inspired by : Lisa Tilse - Australia

You will need:
Newspaper or (dita - paper scrap)
Scissors
Sticky tape (dita - paper tape) and PVA glue
Fabric scrap

Birds:
For each bird you will need to make the following pieces: a beak, head, body and tail. As well as 2 long flat folded strips. The head and body are spheres and the tail is formed by shaping a ball into a cone shape with flat ends. You can see the shapes in the photo.

Step 1 : Tweet Tweet Summer Tweet

Attach the head to the body and then the tail to the body with sticky tape. Then roll a small strip of newspaper up to form a cone for the beak and attach it to the head. Next take two squares of newspaper (that you’ve previously scrunched and flattened) and fold them into long strips. Wrap one strip around your bird where the head joins the body and one where the tail joins. This will hide the joins and enhance the body shape. Use lots of sticky tape to make the joins smooth.

Step 2 :Tweet Tweet Summer Tweet

Cut fabric scraps into small squares 2 -3 cm in size and follow the cheat’s papier mache instructions to cover your bird. Set your bird aside to dry.

Step 3 : Tweet Tweet Summer Tweet

Step 4 : Tweet Tweet Summer Tweet

Cut 2 wings from fabric. If you can, find a shape on your fabric that mimics the shape of a wing.
