Glass Art Project

My sister, Dini, send me glass art paints from Indonesia. Thanks a bunch, dear. I really love it!! Look what I've done 2 days a go with the paints. Cute isn't it? *psssttt....actually she send this for Arwen, but I couldn't resist to use the paints...sorry Arwen ;)*

Glass Art Project

I was having so much fun drawing and painting on a glass. The paint is bright and opaque when wet but dries to a flexible, transparent, plastic finish. These paints can be used to create motifs to decorate window, mirror, used bottle, candle holder, etc.

And I've been experimenting with acrylic paints as well. This is the result.

I think this is going to be my new hobby ;).

Poker Cards

I don't know where did they get the idea of playing poker cards. They insisted to buy poker cards.

"Why don't we make by ourself, darling? Mommy will cut the paper then you draw them. I'm sure it would be more fun!"

See, they enjoyed pretending to play poker :D

Hello Mr. Garlic Bag :)

Garlic Bag Puppet

Some children can communicate more easily through their puppet character in a pretend world. Puppets could encourage self-expression, promote interaction with play partners and help to develop social and communication skills.

Anda Dress : Nice and Simple Dress

I had a secret passion on dressmaking. This is not my first attempt on making my own dress. I did before when I was in junior high school. I made my own skirt and blouse. But that was a long time ago.

I've been curious enough on sewing with a machine, making my own dress or skirt. And I've been keeping my curiousity long enough. Until I had my own sewing machine, then I got excited to make one.

This is my first dressmaking project using my own sewing machine (not my mom's...hehehe). I used pattern from Burdastyle Sewalong Mini Challenge *what a cool challenge!*. It called Anda Dress. I found it simple, cute and nice. Very easy and clear instructions for a beginner like me.

Flowers on My Skirt

Hand Embroidery : Flowers on My Skirt

Call me silly, but I have an annoying habit for over the years. I couldn't resist to see something plain or as it is. I couldn't stand to see a plain wall, a plain shirt, a plain glass, a boring red plain shoes, an old skirt, etc. Everytime I bought something, this thought always across my mind, "I must do something with this!" or "I have to add ribbon on it!" or "Wouldn't it be cute if I add some colors on it!" and bla bla bla....

Just like this one....This is my boring plain polkadot green skirt. Just couldn't stop my hand to sew some flowers on it :D
