Drawing the London Trip

In our UK trip, we brought iPad for kids but we kept it in the bag for days & rarely using it. Wherever we went, kids brought their sketchbook & drawing kit.



We wanted them to experience more about the trip.
We wanted them record their trip into paper.
We wanted them to capture the moment more deeply.



By drawing, we were making memories, not just taking memories.

SEVEN Day 7: The Iranian Kobus

Iranian Kobus bread is one of our favorite food we can find here. It's cheap, only 20 fils for one bread with the size of big pan pizza.

We can find everywhere here in Kuwait so it's handy when you're hungry but you only have coins in your wallet or pocket.

SEVEN Day 6: The Indian Breakfast

At morning, right after we dropped our daughters at school, we stopped by at Indian restaurant near our home. Son wanted chapati & we wanted chai haleeb (milk tea + ginger).

The restaurant was crowdy as usual, mostly taxi drivers. Yummy food & not a shabby place!

Those rebelious little artists cannot resist to 'scratch' the white canvas, the wall.

Our Children with Their Polaroid Barbie

We're continuing our experiment with analog photography. This time we gave our children a Polaroid Barbie.








Kids were amazed. They were watching the film developed within 30 minutes. "Is it done yet?"
When it's done they yelled "It's magical! It looks like we're capturing our life in papers!"





Seems the kids enjoying the experiment & 8 exposures per pack is not enough for them. Though the result is good, they want to explore more with another activities, light and colors.
"Can we have another pack for our Polaroid?"

One pack at a time, kids :D

Food Photography With Polaroid: The Analog Experience

We're doing it not for good result. But merely for an experience.
The experience when we're unplugged from digital mega pixels, digital filters - that mimics vintage look - and digital instant result.
