Kitchen Set

Our kids are easily get bored. Hence we choose to make their own toys rather than buying toys at the toy store. On the one hand we're taught to save money. And on the other hand teaches them to appreciate the creative process :).

This is a kitchen set that we made using old water boxes.

Lovely Hats

Crafting with Kids : Plastic Bowl Hat with Paper Flower

What can you do with usable plastic bowl....voilaaa...I made these carnival hats for Arwen and Leia. It's so easy, just make a flower from colorful crepe papers and then glue it to the bowl, put some button and ribbon. Easy peasy but fun!

Poker Cards

I don't know where did they get the idea of playing poker cards. They insisted to buy poker cards.

"Why don't we make by ourself, darling? Mommy will cut the paper then you draw them. I'm sure it would be more fun!"

See, they enjoyed pretending to play poker :D

Crafting with Kids : Paper Cup Puppet

Hello Mr. Garlic Bag :)

Garlic Bag Puppet

Some children can communicate more easily through their puppet character in a pretend world. Puppets could encourage self-expression, promote interaction with play partners and help to develop social and communication skills.

Newspaper Hats

We got this brilliant idea from Maya. What a wonderful way to recycle newspapers.

Crafting with Kids

We didn't have fresh/paper flowers to decorate the hats, so we made our own flowers style from scarps of fabric combined with ribbons.

My creation

You will need :
-Newspapers
-Scissor
-Masking Tape
-Flower/Ribbon/Crepe Paper
-Glue, if you use Ribbon/Crepe Paper

And here's the steps ;). Enjoy!

Colourful Mask

Crafting with Kids : Mask

Children enjoy pretending to be someone else and they also like dressing up. Masks will help them to take on a new personality ;).

Crafting with Kids : Mask

You can use a piece of paper or paper plate or cardboard to make a mask. Just glue strips of crepe paper or wool for hair to decorate it. And you can also paint it if your children desired.

Let your children's imagination go wild!!

Arwen with Paper flower
